Pixel’s Journey: The Inspiration Behind Our Product

It all started when I noticed what looked like a blister on the inside of Pixel's cheek. I thought it might be a splinter from our daily walks, but within days, it grew into a bleeding lump. Worried, I took him to an on-call vet, who recommended a biopsy and surgery. I was in denial, convinced it wasn’t serious.

When the biopsy results came back inconclusive, my heart sank. His regular vet urged me to see an oncologist. I’ll never forget the moment the oncologist confirmed it was a malignant sarcoma.

Pixel needed immediate surgery to remove the lump and 1cm of surrounding tissue, followed by electrochemotherapy. Watching him go through surgery, swollen and in pain, was one of the hardest experiences of my life. Seeing him weak, trembling, and unable to communicate his discomfort broke my heart.

But Pixel is a fighter. Despite the surgeries, biopsies, and treatments, he pushed through. After days of waiting and agonizing over every moment, we finally got the news we had prayed for: Pixel was cancer-free.

It has been 2 years now and I have been doing his check ups, now every 6 months. However, I did change his entire diet. He went full Keto to reduce inflammation. I personally don't like giving him raw because of the bacteria, but I have heard of good results as well.

I cook for him now and give him lots of natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients so the cancer doesn't come back (Ginger, Turmeric, blueberries, cinnamon). The craziest thing is that he used to have lots of skin allergies when he ate his kibble and now NOTHING!
